SkinVisual Med Spa is only available by appointment. Appointments can be made by call or text and via email.
Your appointment time has been set aside exclusively for you. A missed appointment or late cancellation leaves a gap in the esthetician’s schedule that could have been filled by another client. As a result, any cancellations or modifications to your appointment must be made at least 48 hours in advance by call/text or email. Clients who cancel/modify or miss an appointment within less than 48 hours notice will be charged a cancellation fee of $35 for appointments under 1 hour and $75 for appointments over 1 hour. Full body laser appointments that are modified/rescheduled or cancelled under 48 hours are subject to a $125 cancellation fee.
We reserve the right to refuse appointments to any client who has demonstrated disregard of our cancellation policy.
If you arrive late for your appointment, the estheticians will treat you for the remainder of the session time only, with no cost reduction. We are unable to extend appointments beyond the initially scheduled time due to extremely busy schedules. If you are over 10-15 minutes late for your appointment, we will ask you to reschedule and cancellation fees will be applied.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for your initial visit to fill out our client intake form.
You are expected to shave the treatment area 24 hrs before your scheduled appointment. If the treatment area has not been shaved properly there will be a shaving fee plus a charge for the razor (you may bring your own razor). If the technician is short on time and the area is largely/completely unshaven she may ask you to reschedule the appointment and cancellation fees may be applied. The time required for the technician to shave will be taken from the time that she has scheduled for the appointment.
The technicians reserve the right to reschedule clients who are late to their appointment, did not shave or only partly shaved before the appointment.
Our staff are dedicated to what they do! If you are unhappy with the service please stop the session and let the front desk know of the problem. Your satisfaction is important to us, if you have a complaint please notify us at your soonest convenience and our team will assist you!
We are constantly expanding our services to bring you the most up to date technology and spa services. Although we make every effort to keep our website and spa menu updated, please note that prices and services are subject to change at any time.
Payments can be made in person, over the phone or by e- transfer.
First Time Clients
There is a non-refundable deposit to be made on all services. Your appointment bookings will be confirmed and held once the deposit is in place. The non-refundable deposit is used towards your first appointment. If for any reason you need to cancel your appointment or there is a no-show, you will not be refunded.
Appointments under 1 hour – $50 deposit
Appointments over an hour – $100 deposit
Full body laser appointments -$200 deposit
Packages and Pre-paid Services Policy
All prepaid services and packages are non-refundable. If for any reason you cannot continue any services, we require a doctor’s note to refund. A 20% admin fee will be held by SkinVisual Med Spa.
All products are final sale.
The facial and laser hair removal treatment rooms and washrooms are all wheelchair accessible. The staff are not allowed to lift people onto beds. If such assistance is required, please bring a personal care attendant. SkinVisual Med Spa is handicap-accessible through the parking lot entrance and can accommodate a wheelchair. Please let us know when making your appointment if you require accessibility.
Your Rights and Responsibilities as a Client
To enjoy your spa experience to the fullest, please observe the Code of Conduct, act responsibly and be aware that common sense and personal awareness can help ensure your satisfaction, comfort and safety, as well as that of others.
As a client, it is your responsibility to:
- Communicate your preferences, expectations and concerns.
- Communicate complete and accurate health information and reasons for your visit.
- Treat staff and other guests with courtesy and respect.
- Use products, and follow pre/post treatment care as directed.
- Adhere to the med spa’s published policies and procedures.
As a client, you have the right to:
- A clean, safe and comfortable environment.
- Stop a treatment at any time, for any reason.
- Be treated with consideration, dignity and respect.
- Confidential treatment of your disclosed health information.
- Trained staff who respectfully conduct treatments according to treatment protocols and the spa’s policies and procedures.
- Ask questions about your experience.

Please turn off your cell phone or silence your calls, loud phone conversations at the front desk or treatment room will be asked to stop. Help us maintain a quiet space for all our clients.
Please understand on rare occasions noises beyond our control can be disruptive, our team always works hard to hold the space for each client to relax and unwind. It is never our intention for loud noises to take away from your time.
If you wish to have silence during your treatment please let your service provider know in the beginning. Talking during a session can help some people to relax, we simply ask that our service providers and clients are respectful of others views on politics, religion, and social issues. It is recommended that you avoid stressful conversations to get the most benefit out of your time with us.
Right to Refuse Service:
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone demonstrating behavior that is perceived to be inappropriate or disruptive to our med spa atmosphere.
If you refuse to pay the cancellation fee you will no longer be allowed to schedule appointments with SkinVisual Med Spa.
If you treat our staff in a disrespectful manner or make an inappropriate statement to them, we will refuse any further services.
