Radiant 30 is an alpha hydroxy acid resurfacing peel containing lactic acid to exfoliate dead skin cells. Boost cell turnover and stimulate collagen, improving skin texture and tone. This multifunctional peel targets multiple skin conditions, including fine lines and wrinkles, discolouration, sun damage and large pores. The Perfect Derma™ Peel is suitable for all skin types and ethnicities, requires very little downtime and is almost completely pain-free. Frequently Asked Questions
When does the peeling start and how long does it last?
The peeling typically starts around day 3 and lasts up to a week.
Is there any preparation needed before the treatment?
No prep is needed for the Perfect Derma Peel. You may continue with your normal skin regiment however do avoid any retinoids for 3 days prior to the treatment.
How many treatments are required for visible improvement?
After one treatment the overall skin tone and texture should improve. Depending on which skin condition you are wanting to treat, multiple treatments may be necessary for optimal results. 2-3 series of treatments will provide more desired results when targeting skin concerns like active acne and Melasma.
What makes the Perfect Derma Peel different from other chemical peels?

Slight stinging or tingling sensation may be felt during initial application. After 30-60 seconds numbing in the peel will take place. A fan is provided if necessary to improve patient comfort.

WHAT IS THE RECOVERY TIME?
The treatment typically takes about 30minutes per session. Some people experience results or improvement on the treated area after the first application of the Pink Intimate System. For recommended protocol, repeat treatments after at least 7-10 days depending on your own skin. There is zero downtime, no recovery time associated with this treatment. You can go back to normal activities immediately.

- Skin infection/open wound in treatment area
Pre- Treatment Guidelines
- Discontinue the use of any Isotretinoin products (such as Accutane) for 6 months before treatment
- Discuss your medical history, medications, allergies and any tendency for scarring, keloid, or poor healing with your medical esthetician.
- Do NOT use any acidic products or irritants on your skin, such as retinoids or tretinoin, acne medication products such at Retin A, Tazorac, Renova, Atralin. Differin, the antibiotic Doxycycline, AHA’s (glycolic, lactic, tartaric acid, etc.) BHAs (salicylic acid), benzoyl peroxide, lightening agents such as hydroquinone for 5-7 days prior to your chemical peel.
*NOTE* for stronger prescriptions/ doctor prescribed products, please discontinue use for 1-2 weeks. If there are any doubts about using any product, please discontinue use and discuss it at your appointment with your medical esthetican.
- Avoid direct sun exposure as well as tanning beds and self-tanning to the planned treatment areas for 4 weeks prior to the treatment.
- Do NOT tweeze, wax, use a depilatory, or undergo electrolysis in the area.
- Bring a large brimmed hat and a pair of sunglasses to block the sun for your trip home.
- Do NOT apply any creams, lotions, aftershave, cologne, or perfume the day of the appointment. Avoid shaving the treatment area the day of the appointment.
What to expect + post care:
- The peeling may take anywhere from 7-10 days or longer depending on factors such as skin type, age, weather, and hormones. Slight redness and skin sensitivity and flaking can occur as your skin exfoliates. Each treatment may vary.
- Possible side effects include but are not limited to redness, temporary tightness, itchiness, temporary swelling, and dryness of the skin similar to a sunburn.
- Sweating excessively after the treatment can irritate the skin or cause blistering due to the sweat being unable to escape through the top layer of dead skin. Try to avoid sweating until after you have stopped peeling to avoid lifting the skin prematurely as this can cause scarring.
- Do NOT use any acidic products or irritants on your skin, such as retinoids or tretinoin, acne medication products such at Retin A, Tazorac, Renova, Atralin. Differin, the antibiotic Doxycycline, AHA’s (glycolic, lactic, tartaric acid, etc.) BHAs (salicylic acid), benzoyl peroxide, lightening agents such as hydroquinone for 2 weeks after your chemical peel.
- Do NOT tweeze, pick, rub, exfoliate, wax, use a depilatory, undergo electrolysis, or schedule a facial or cosmetic service such as laser hair removal or microneedling for 2 weeks after your treatment.
- Do NOT wash your face for the first 48 hours after the treatment. Avoid touching your skin and refrain from using makeup for 1 week.
- Cleanse gently with cool water using your hands – no washcloths, loofas, sponges. We recommend Alumier MDs cream cleansers or purifying gel cleanser.
- Moisturize often
- Avoid excessive sun exposure and heat as well as tanning beds and self tanners for 4 weeks after the treatment. If you must be outdoors, wear a large brimmed hat, sunglasses and use a physical sunscreen.
